Community Health System strengthening and Health Promotion
This Program is aimed at Strengthening Community Health Systems to promote health and increase access and up uptake of health services. HOLD Uganda Health Programs are implemented through the Ministry of Health Systems and specifically through the District Health Office, Hospitals, Health Centers and Village health teams.
Maternal Child Health (MCH)
HOLD Uganda is implementing this project in Kamuli and Buyende District in Eastern Uganda. The main Goal of this project is to contribute to a reduction on maternal and child mortality rates in Uganda.
In partnership with Saving Mothers Medical team and Vitamin Angles from USA, we are building the capacities of health workers and Village Health Teams (VHTs) in MCH services delivery and risk detection and management.
Sexual and Reproductive Health
In this project, HOLD Uganda is supporting adolescent girls and young women to access accurate sexual and reproductive health information; A range of safe and affordable contraceptive methods, Referral to health facilities to access obstetric and antenatal care as well as prevention and management of sexually transmitted infections, including HIV.

Family Planning
This is a project currently targeting adolescent girls and young women in Bugaya sub county. In partnership with FHI360 and Health For Development –HDI Uganda, we are implementing Family planning project in Bugaya Sub-County using Peer to Peer approach. Services are being offered at community level to pre-booked clients after demand creation meetings, dialogues and community drives.
