We target mostly school dropouts and those that never had an opportunity of going to school.
Vocational Skills Training
HOLD Uganda has a team of vocational skills instructors in Buyende and Kamuli District who offer training services at community level. In addition to Vocational skills, trainees are oriented on Business and entrepreneurship skills, Leadership and are linked to other health services such as Family planning. Before girls graduate, HOLD Uganda organizes community exposure where the trainees work on the community members free of charge as a way of marketing them that they have acquired the skills and as potential service providers in their respective communities. This has helped our former trainees get customers after the training.
